Lacy Eye by Jessica Treadway

I have to admit, I had this one in my TBR pile since I received an ARC over a year ago but it never seemed to quite be the one I picked next. Boy, did I regret that one I got started on this! I absolutely loved this book. From the naviety of the mother, to the psychosis of Dawn, this book will hook you from page 1!

In The Unlikely Event

The first word that comes to mind when describing this book is just plain and simply, wow. The story of Miri Ammerman is so relatable and heartfelt that I did not want the story to ever end - and when it did, man oh man did I cry buckets. I didn't think that Blume could ever follow up to Summer Sisters but I should have known better! She has chosen to tell a story that is so different from Summer Sisters, comparisons cannot even be made between the two.

Five stars!!!

Where They Found Her

I had been eagerly anticipating McCreight's next novel since the moment I finished Reconstructing Amelia and Where They Found Her certainly did not disappoint. I tend to be partial to stories told from multiple perspectives, driven by curiosity to see how they eventually intertwine. For anyone looking for a good psychological thriller, be sure to check this one out!

The Stranger

I have yet to be disappointed by a book of Harlan Coben's and The Stranger was no different. A captivating thriller that grips you from beginning to end, you will not want to put this one down!

Guest Blog Review - The Girl on the Train!

Written in the same vein as Gone Girl with some similarities but many differences .
A suspenseful read that you won't want to put down. You will change your mind many times as to how the story ends but you probably won't figure it out ! 2015 is off to a good start !

In Some Other World, Maybe

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about this novel. I devoured it in one day and would highly recommend. Goldhagen makes her characters come to life and my only regret is that I read this book so quickly and do not get to spend more time with Adam, Phoebe, Sharon, Oliver and the rest of the crew. I have been looking for a book that I loved as much as Meg Wolitzer's The Interestings and I have finally found it!
